Toledo Bend Fishing Report Mid Lake and South End BASS ~ Good. most fish coming on points in 12ft to 18ft use a Strike King XD6 in root beer or sexy shad . On slow days drop out to 19ft to 30ft and throw a carolina rigged Zoom finess worm in smokin green or a 5/8oz football head jig with a watermelon/gold flake yamamoto twin tail grub .Exellent at night on black TX rigged worms and football head jigs rigged with a black emarald brush hog. BREAM ~ Slow. over brush in 22' - 28' of water on crickets and Berkly power maggots. CRAPPIE ~ Good. Being caught in 23'- 28' of water over brush on red/chartrues tubes rigged on a 1/16 oz. jig head and shinners tight lined best at night. CATFISH ~ Exellent. In 22' to 38' of water on baited holes on live carp and catfish charlie blood bait . WHITE BASS ~ Good. being caught on humdingers and slab spoons in chrome or gold on sand points in 18ft to 22ft .
